Project Focus points:

Genre-How a change in audience has caused a change in film genre for monster movies to shift genre to remain relevant and has lead to their place in popular culture, e.g. monsters inc being a kids film

Technology-How monster movies have effected the film industry through advancements in CGI and Practical effects and how the use of these has become iconic for specific examples i.e godzilla and rubber suits/miniature model cities etc.

Cultural Studies-the translation of monsters throughout world cinema and the effects of these movies on popular culture, e.g. famous monsters referenced in other works, well recognized monster/movie names etc.
